Event Sponsors
The “2010 Euro-Africa Cooperation Forum on ICT Research” organising team was providing organisations supporting the event with major visibility, significant networking opportunities, and substantial benefits prior to, during and after the event. Sponsorship helped the Forum organisers to offer top quality conference facilities and - above all - to ensure a larger participation of high-level delegates from sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean by offering them full or partial mobility grants. A range of sponsorship packages was available while customised packages were proposed to better suit the expectations and requirements of supporting organisations.
The EuroAfrica-ICT Partnership is extending its special thanks to the “2010 Euro-Africa Cooperation Forum on ICT Research” sponsors:

Addis Ababa University has had a long and varied history. It has been the focus of many key changes during Ethiopia’s modern era, and now aims to be a central part of the most recent and potentially most significant change efforts - to promote democratisation and development throughout the country and to eradicate poverty. Addis Ababa University will play a key role in these efforts through working to enhance the capacity and quality of higher education and research across the country. Through turning itself into a research university, AAU will focus on producing highly qualified teachers who will reach universities across Ethiopia to raise the standards of education in all of these institutions, thereby enabling them to produce higher quality graduates who will help stimulate the national economy and reinvigorate public life.
